Thank you for your continued partnership as we work together to ensure our scholars are prepared for a successful school day.
We have previously shared our uniform expectations and have contacted families individually when students were not in compliance. However, we are continuing to see students arrive in clothing that does not meet our uniform guidelines.
Beginning Monday, August 24, all returning students must be in full uniform. Please review the expectations below carefully and refer to the attached 2026–2027 Empower Uniform Inspiration Guide for visual examples of approved uniform options. The attached Uniform Inspiration Guide provides examples of approved uniform combinations and additional options available to families. Please use this guide as a reference when purchasing uniforms and preparing your scholar for school.
Approved Shirts
Students may wear:
-A purple Empower collared polo with the school logo.
-A white Oxford/button-down shirt with the Empower logo.
-Polos in white, black, gray, red, blue or any color other than purple are NOT permitted.
-Empower T-shirts are no longer permitted as uniform shirts.
-All approved shirts must be collared and display the Empower logo, with the exception of newly enrolled students as outlined below.
Approved Bottoms
Students may wear the following in khaki, gray, or black:
-Pants
-Skirts
-Jumpers
Jeans or denim of ANY color are NOT permitted. This includes blue, black, gray, or any other colored denim.
Newly Enrolled Students
We understand that families who have recently joined Empower may need additional time to purchase the required uniform.
Students who enrolled within the last week may temporarily wear a plain white or purple collared polo without the Empower logo while their official uniform is being obtained. We maintain a list of newly enrolled students who qualify for this temporary exception. All other uniform expectations, including approved bottoms and no jeans or denim, still apply.
Beginning Monday, August 24
To ensure consistent implementation of our uniform expectations across Empower:
-If a student arrives out of uniform, a parent/guardian will be contacted to bring the appropriate uniform to school.
-If an appropriate uniform cannot be provided, the student will be sent home with their parent/guardian to change.
-Students may return to school once they are dressed in the appropriate uniform.
We want our scholars in school, in class, and learning every day. Please help us avoid disruptions to your child's instructional day by checking their uniform before they leave home each morning.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this expectation and for partnering with us as we work toward 100% uniform compliance across Empower. We appreciate your support in helping our scholars represent Empower with pride and excellence.

Good afternoon, Empower Families,
As we continue settling into the new school year, we want to provide a quick clarification regarding our student uniform expectations.
Please review the following reminders:
-Old Empower T-shirts are no longer part of the student uniform and should not be worn to school.
-All shirts must be collared. This includes polo shirts, white button-down shirts, and other approved collared uniform shirts.
-The Empower logo is required on all uniform tops, even when a cardigan, sweater, or jacket is worn over the shirt.
-Dresses, jumpsuits, and similar uniform options must also have the Empower logo.
-Wearing a jacket, cardigan, or sweater over a non-uniform shirt does not make the shirt uniform compliant.
We understand that some families may still be transitioning and purchasing the required uniform items. Students who enrolled within the last two weeks will have until Monday, August 24, to obtain the required uniform. During this transition period, these students may wear a plain white or purple collared polo shirt without the Empower logo. Beginning August 24, they will be expected to follow the full uniform requirements.
All other students should be in full uniform each school day.
Our goal is to make sure expectations are clear and consistent for everyone. Thank you for your attention to these reminders and for partnering with us to ensure our scholars are dressed for success and ready to learn each day!
