💜💛 EMPOWER PARENTS: COOLER WEATHER, SAME DRESS CODE! 🍂

As temperatures begin to drop, we want to remind our Empower families that our school dress code has NOT changed!

We understand that parents want to ensure their scholars are warm and comfortable throughout the school day. Please know that classroom temperatures have been adjusted to accommodate the cooler weather.

✅ Approved Classroom Attire: * Empower-approved collared uniform shirts * Solid black sweaters (no logo required) * Empower sweater vests * Empower uniform cardigans

🚫 NOT Permitted in the Classroom: * Hoodies * Non-dress-code-approved jackets * Non-approved sweaters or other outerwear Students will not be permitted to wear non-approved outerwear in the classroom, regardless of the temperature outside.

📣 PARENT ACTION REQUIRED!
We are asking all parents and guardians to:
✅ Check your scholar’s uniform each morning before leaving home to ensure they are following the dress code.
✅ Provide an approved solid black sweater, Empower sweater vest, or Empower cardigan if your scholar needs an additional layer for warmth.
✅ Remind your scholar that hoodies and non-approved jackets or sweaters must be removed before entering the classroom.
✅ Help us avoid unnecessary disruptions by ensuring your scholar arrives at school dressed appropriately and ready to learn.

We appreciate your partnership! Maintaining consistent expectations helps us create a focused, respectful, and distraction-free learning environment for every scholar. Thank you for supporting the standards and expectations of Empower Community School! 💜💛

💜💛 ¡FAMILIAS DE EMPOWER: ¡EL CLIMA ESTA MAS FRÍO , PERO EL CÓDIGO DE VESTIMENTA SIGUE IGUAL! 🍂

¡El orgullo estudiantil comienza con la preparación!

Good Afternoon Upper Campus Families,

We want to share an important update regarding Progress Reports and ACAP Scores. Moving forward, Progress Reports and Report Cards will be sent to families through PowerSchool. However, for this grading period, Upper Campus Progress Reports will be printed and sent home with students.

Progress Reports will be sent home with students tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

In addition, Spring 2026 ACAP Score Reports will also be sent home with students. Your student will receive their printed Progress Report and ACAP Score Report together. Please make sure to check your student’s backpack for these important documents. We strongly encourage families to review the Progress Report and ACAP Scores with their student. This is a great opportunity to celebrate areas of success and discuss areas where additional support may be needed.

Please remember to:
Check your student’s backpack for their Progress Report and ACAP Scores.
Review both documents with your student.
Contact the school if you have any questions.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your student’s education!

What’s cooking next week, Gators? Check out our breakfast and lunch menu for September 14–18!

🥛 Lactose-free white and chocolate milk is available daily upon request.
